Sometimes, it's worth the effort to declutter an image and direct the viewer's attention. The purists will say this is no longer photography. They're right. It isn't. But it looks better a real photograph could. Why? Well, other than how hard it is to get two (especially non-human) subjects to pose together...there's the real issue of being able to safely photograph two horses from 3 feet away if they're not somehow contained.
